これは、エアロスミスの第2期黄金時代とも言えるゲフィン・レコード時代の楽曲で構成されたベスト・アルバム「Big Ones / ビッグ・ワンズ」に併せて発売されたレーザー・ディスク「Big Ones - You Can Look At / ビッグ・ワンズ - ユー・キャン・ルック・アット」で、こちらは映像版のベスト・アルバムといった内容。
ヒット作を連発していた時期のミュージック・ビデオ集ということもあり、どのビデオもお金がかかっているなぁといった印象。なお、"Crazy"では、スティーヴン・タイラーの娘で、現在は女優として活躍しているリヴ・タイラーが出演している。
ちなみに、CDの"Big Ones"の方には、未発表曲の「Walk on Water / ウォーク・オン・ウォーター」、「Blind Man / ブラインド・マン」の2曲と、「Dude (Looks Like a Lady) / デュード」のライヴ・ヴァージョンが収録されており、アメリカに於いてはビルボード・チャートで6位を記録し、400万枚 (4x Platinum / 1997-RIAA) を売り上げるヒットとなっている。
